We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a dynamic brand team as a Graphic Designer at Milwaukee Tool, the fastest growing brand in the Tool Industry and the World Leader in Cordless Innovation.

Location: Head Office (Toronto, ON)

Position Description

The Milwaukee Tool brand is an industry leader and our products are utilized by professionals across the country. We are looking for a Graphic Designer with extensive branding, production and creative services experiences to join our talented brand team at Milwaukee Tool.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing campaigns by creating impactful creative expression across all touchpoints to build brand voice and impactful representation to elevate the brand and customer experience in the market.

A successful candidate is passionate about crafting quality work that is thoughtful and dynamic while embracing the opportunity to continuously enhancing the brand.

What You Will Do

In this position, the Graphic Designer will:

  • Ensure consistency and adherence to the Milwaukee’s brand guidelines across all design projects.

  • Create visually appealing and on-brand designs for a variety of mediums, including print collateral, digital assets, packaging, and promotional materials.

  • Design and develop creative concepts, layouts, animation, and visual assets for various marketing materials, including digital advertisements, social media posts, web banners, brochures, flyers, presentations, etc. to communicate our innovation through multiple mediums in-store and online to drive consumers to act.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate with the various teams to understand project requirements target audience to create designs that effectively communicate our brand message and ensure design consistency and accuracy across different channels and platforms.

  • Review and proofread designs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Maintain organized design files and assets and contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's design library.

  • Enforcement of brand strategies and brand standards across all in-store and online brand marketing initiatives.

  • Coordinate photography and videography needs to produce brand assets for special projects.

  • Stay on top of trends in branding, marketing, trade shows, advertising and technologies to ensure innovative designs are developed while maintaining brand integrity and uniformity in the market.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects with strong visual design and typography skills.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and creativity, including print and digital.

  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Driven by results and continuous improvement with a very strong attention to detail.

  • Enthusiastic about learning, eager to give and receive feedback.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Analytical and curious to understand market, consumer and customer insights.

  • Can translate business goals into action plans and develops contingency plan.

  • Knowledge of 3D rendering is a bonus.
