Masterpack Assembler

Job Description:

The Masterpack Assembler will inspect completed production in kits, regular orders, and special orders. The work is not automated. The position will verify packages are produced per requirements, verify stock tickets are accurate before back flushing process. The position may also be responsible for sorting, counting, 6S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, hanging blades, and special assignments. May serve as a backup to other positions at the direction of management; other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work on non-automated inspection process to verify that packages have correct blades, there are no missing teeth on blades, no bent blades, print is acceptable per workmanship board, verifies package is sealed properly

  • Verify stock tickets are accurate before backflushing process

  • Perform work per work instructions and area metrics

  • Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard

  • Move material to and from workstation for inspection using a floor jack

  • Assembles box and tapes after packing applies label

  • Completes kit or 5 pack reject form

  • Train others in all areas

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area

  • Practice 6S

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
