Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. Custodian in Olive Branch, Mississippi

The custodian is responsible for safety, cleaning and appeal of facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate, refill, and clean power floor scrubber to maintain a clean facility
  • Sweep and/or dust mop areas as needed to remove debris prior to scrubbing
  • Remove trash and cardboard from warehouse areas and dispose or compact
  • Periodically monitor the parking lot and other outside areas to maintain cleanliness
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down areas for meetings and luncheons
  • Provide back-up support to contracted cleaning services
  • Maintain 5S techniques in the shop and work areas
  • Aid with all needed requests from other maintenance personnel as needed

Physical Demands

  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling
  • Able to work in various temperature conditions
  • Operation of motorized/manual pallet jack, power sweeper, and power scrubber

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to four years of high school
